Designed to work in conjunction with the Broil King Rectangular Pizza Stone, Plancha, or Cast Iron Griddle, this heavy cast iron dome transforms your grill into a remarkably effective convection-style oven — delivering professional-quality results that are simply not achievable on an open grill surface alone.

The principle is straightforward but powerfully effective. By placing the dome over your pizza stone, plancha, or griddle, you create an enclosed cooking environment directly on the grill surface. The cast iron dome absorbs heat from the grill, radiates it downwards onto the food, and traps convected hot air inside the dome. This creates a perfectly balanced cooking environment where heat comes from both below (through the stone or plancha surface) and above (from the dome), simultaneously crisping the base and cooking the toppings — the combination that defines a truly great pizza.

Without the dome, the inside of a grill lid is some distance above the cooking surface, creating a large, unfocused heat zone. The Cooking Dome focuses heat precisely where you need it, reducing the distance between heat source and food and dramatically accelerating and improving the quality of the cook.

Made from heavy cast iron with a durable matte porcelain finish, the dome is built to withstand the high temperatures of regular grilling and retain heat effectively throughout the cooking session. Compatible with all full-size Broil King grills including Baron and Crown series.
