The Broil King Royal 390 Shadow is one of the most versatile and complete gas BBQs in the Broil King range. Building on the popular Royal 340 Shadow, the 390 adds a powerful side burner and rear rotisserie burner with premium rotisserie kit — making it a truly comprehensive outdoor cooking solution in a compact, sleek all-black design.
Three stainless steel Dual-Tube™ burners deliver 8.8 kW (30,000 BTU) of consistent, even heat across a 2,129 sq. cm primary cooking surface. The patented Flav-R-Wave™ cooking system ensures perfect heat distribution while vaporising drippings and cycling that rich moisture and flavour back into your food, producing juicier, more delicious results every time.
A 2.7 kW side burner on the left-hand shelf lets you cook sauces and sides simultaneously, while the 3.5 kW rear rotisserie burner with included premium rotisserie kit opens up a whole world of slow-roasted, succulent cooking.
The reversible porcelain-coated cast iron Flav-R-Cast™ cooking grids hold heat brilliantly and deliver classic sear marks, while the chrome-coated warming rack keeps food warm while you finish cooking.
Linear-Flow™ burner valves with 180° precision control and the Deluxe Accu-Temp™ thermometer give you full, confident control at every stage. The Sure-Lite™ electronic ignition delivers a fast, reliable start every time. The enclosed resin cabinet base accommodates a 13kg patio gas bottle, and the black drop-down side shelves fold away to save space. Wheels and locking castors make it easy to move. A complete, brilliant grill.
How will my order be delivered?
It depends on what you order. Accessories, covers, fuels, pizza ovens and smaller barbecues are sent by tracked courier (DPD) — £4.99, free over £50. Larger boxed barbecues arrive by kerbside pallet delivery — £39.95, free over £500. Garden furniture sets are delivered by a two-person team — £59, free over £500. The right method and cost are applied automatically at checkout. You can also collect any order free of charge from Hildreths Garden Centre in Prestwood.
When will my order arrive?
We aim to deliver within 10 working days of your order being confirmed. You'll receive an email once your order has been dispatched, along with tracking details where available.
How do I prepare for delivery?
Before ordering, make sure you've measured your outdoor space — particularly gate widths and access routes, as some garden furniture sets can be large. This helps avoid any issues on delivery day.
Does delivery include assembly?
Standard delivery is to the front of your property (kerbside) and doesn't include assembly or packaging removal. Add our Packaging Removal (£75) or Platinum Delivery & Assembly Service (£179.99) to your basket for garden delivery, full assembly and responsible disposal of packaging.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to most UK mainland addresses, excluding Scotland. We're unable to deliver to the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and Scotland as standard — but please contact us if you're in one of these areas and we'll do our best to help.
