By standing your ribs upright in a stainless steel wire frame rather than laying them flat on the grill, this clever rack transforms how much you can cook in a single session — and dramatically improves the quality of the result.

The vertical orientation is the key to the rib rack's effectiveness. When ribs are laid flat on a grill grate, each rack takes up a full segment of cooking space and the upper surface is considerably further from the heat than the underside. You have to flip and rotate constantly to achieve even cooking, and you can still end up with dry edges and unevenly rendered fat. Stood upright in the rack, all surfaces of every rib are exposed to the same indirect heat simultaneously, cooking evenly from all sides without any turning or repositioning. The result is more consistent, more evenly cooked ribs with beautifully rendered fat throughout.

The rack can accommodate up to five individual rib racks — more than enough for a large family gathering or summer BBQ party. The wide spacing between each slot allows good airflow and smoke penetration between the racks, ensuring every slab benefits from the full BBQ environment.
